Retired Cowboy Declares War on Wind Turbines for “Mockin’ His Lasso”
Ma asked, “What’d they ever do to Hank?”
Pa said, “Spin like smug devils from some green-bank.”
He stood on a ridge, rope in hand,
Yellin’ “They mock me with every stand!”
He tossed his loop with fierce intent,
But turbines twirled with subtle bent.
“Too slick!” he yelled, “They won’t stay still–“
And blamed them for his monthly pill.
He built a trebuchet outta wood,
To “lasso modernity like a cowboy should.”
Now tourists stop to film his feud,
While wind farm owners stay subdued.
One day he roped a blade just right,
And rode it spinnin’ into the night.
