Farmer Hosts TED Talk Titled “Why My Pig Is Smarter Than Congress”

Ma packed sandwiches and folding chairs,
Pa shaved the hog and trimmed his hairs.
“This here’s Hamlet,” the farmer began,
“He don’t filibuster, just sticks to the plan.”
Hamlet grunted once, the crowd leaned in,
“That’s policy, straight from the pen.”
He rooted charts in compost piles,
And oinked out budgets with honest smiles.
“No pork-barrel spending, just the pork,”
He squealed as critics took notes with a spork.
Congressmen blinked in stunned defeat,
As Hamlet passed laws with cloven feet.
Now farmers beam with rustic pride,
And pigs are polling nationwide.
