Cowboys Sue NASA for “Stealing Stars Meant for Rodeo Hats”

Ma frowned, “Those stars were ours since dusk.”
Pa yelled, “Ain’t no rocket ownin’ our husk!”
NASA claimed they chart the skies,
But cowboys claimed theft with squinty eyes.
“You took Orion’s belt–we needed that!”
“It holds up Buck’s jeans and his ten-gallon hat!”
They lassoed satellites with rodeo ropes,
And carved their names in Mars’s hopes.
Their lawyer wore boots and spoke in drawl,
“Return them stars or we sue it all.”
The judge just blinked at cowboy logic,
And issued a ruling both vague and tragic.
Now SpaceX lands in old saloons,
And stars twinkle to outlaw tunes.
