(Verse 1)
Well, the folks at NASA had a job to do,
Testing windshields with a bird or two.
They made a cannon that could shoot a bird fast,
To see if planes and jets could last the blast.
(Chorus)
Defrost the chicken first, that’s all you need,
A frozen bird’s like a missile indeed!
High-tech glass can’t take the blow,
When a 6-pound popsicle’s what you throw.
(Verse 2)
Bullet Train engineers heard the tale,
And thought, “Our trains need to pass or fail.”
They set it up, got officials around,
For the sight of science, a grand countdown.
(Chorus)
Defrost the chicken first, that’s rule number one,
Turns out poultry power ain’t all that fun.
If that bird’s a block of frozen ice,
It’ll shatter your tech, no matter the price.
(Bridge)
They shot that bird, with pride and cheer,
But it smashed the glass, then disappeared.
Left a hole in the wall, dent in the dash,
All from a bird they froze like a flash.
(Verse 3)
The engineers were baffled, couldn’t believe,
How a chicken left a hole as big as their grief.
They wrote NASA for advice, what they’d done wrong,
And NASA replied with a note short and strong:
(Chorus)
“DEFROST THE CHICKEN FIRST,” plain as day,
That’s all it took to blow them away.
A simple step they forgot to see,
Turns a train test into poultry debris.
(Verse 4)
So here’s a lesson from the engineers’ pain,
Don’t shoot frozen chickens at your shiny new train.
For all the planning, they overlooked,
That thawed-out birds don’t hit like a hook.
(Chorus)
Defrost the chicken first, that’s golden advice,
Otherwise, you’re payin’ a poultry price.
The Bullet Train crew had a day they won’t forget,
All thanks to a chicken they left in the fridge set.
(Outro)
So next time you’re testin’ windshields tough,
Remember to thaw if you’ve had enough.
NASA said it best, and they’re hardly cursed,
If you’re launchin’ poultry—defrost the chicken first.
